Series 9 starts Mon 13th November 2023!
Can planting trees help us reach our climate targets? Does where we live impact on our health? How do we harness the power of the immune system, and what are some of the secrets to ageing well?
“10 Things to Know About…” returns on Monday 13th November at 8.30pm on RTÉ One, with presenters Kathriona Devereux and Jonathan McCrea travelling the country to meet the researchers working on some of the most important challenges facing society – from breeding more climate resilient and disease-resistant trees, to improved ways of tracking and tackling waterborne diseases in our private wells.
And in Curious Chronicles, Fergus McAuliffe reveals the fascinating origins of the silent tree guardians of Ireland’s graveyards, explores the intriguingly named ‘humungous fungus’, and investigates the ‘pollen fingerprints’ that helped catch a killer!
